Bangkok...Damn it's hot!
Arrived in Bangkok 2 days ago and have been busy checking out the sites. Yesterday we got talked into taking a tuk tuk around town. We went to a massive standing Buddha and then to the Golden Mount, where our driver dumped us! Luckily we had a map and a compass to get back. We went to McDonalds for a Coke Float before checking out the shops on Khao San Rd, it was awesome! We stopped at a cafe and watched a pirated version of Borat, subtitles were just as funny as the movie.
Today we went to the Royal Palace and Emerald Buddha, it was amazing! Then we went to see the reclining Buddha which was massive (43 metres long). I paid 20 Baht to put coins in bowls for good luck. Then we took a boat over to the Temple of The Dawn for 3 Baht (10 cents) one way! It was so hot and humid and mum was trying to kill me off already so we went back for pizza.
Tomorrow morning we are off to Kanchanaburi...

The Blog site is fantastic and really informative. We are glad to hear you guys are having a great time and arrived safely. Sorry to hear that it is hot...hot! there but you will get use to it I sure. Look forward to more news and love the pics, now that's great photography. Take care and look after one another.
